Michal Kreml
CFO, Magna Pharmacia
Born in Brno, he earned his bacherlor’s degree in finance at Mendel University. He continued his studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands, where he received a master’s degree in financial economics. While studying, he also spent six months in Ireland. He started his professional career in 2017 in the valuation and financial modelling department of EY. He subsequently worked at pharmaceutical firm Zentiva, where he supported its acquisition of the European arm of Alvogen across 14 countries. He then worked at Heimstaden, one of Europe’s largest institutional investors in residential real estate. There, he was responsible for the economic evaluation and due diligence in the acquisition of 2,500 apartments in development projects in five Polish cities, the largest transaction of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe at the time. He joined EMMA Capital Group in the spring of 2023. As an Investment Manager, he was involved in the acquisition of Magna Pharmacia, a leading medical equipment distributor in Serbia. In the spring of 2024, he assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer at this company, responsible primarily for international expansion. He thus played a major role in the acquisition of the major Romanian company Diamedix, in which EMMA Group acquired a majority stake in 2025. In addition to his university degrees, Michal Kreml has also been a Chartered Financial Analyst since 2022.
