EMMA Capital assumes full ownership of Mailstep

EMMA Capital Group has signed an agreement with private equity fund CVC for its full takeover of Mailstep, one of the largest Czech fulfilment companies. Until now, Mailstep was part of Packeta Group, in which CVC and EMMA hold 65% and 35% stakes respectively.

EMMA Capital Group is confident of Mailstep’s excellent business prospects in the medium and long term, and believes that it can successfully adapt the company to meet the dynamically changing needs of the market.

The transaction is subject to the approval of the Czech competition authority.

EMMA Capital is a private investment holding founded in 2012 by Jiří Šmejc. In recent years, it has focused chiefly on markets in the European Union.
